All national, pan-European and international organisations and companies are invited to join the e-Skills Week as stakeholders. Their role is to contribute to the success of the e-Skills Week by promoting experiences and best practices in the field of e-Skills, and thus raise awareness about e-Skills, the stakeholders and the e-Skills Week 2010!

Why join the e-Skills Week?

As e-Skills Week stakeholders, the organisations and companies will have the following benefits:

• Visibility and co-branding opportunities at EU level
• EU level branding of e-Skills on their materials, which will enhance their credibility at national level
• Approved stakeholders will have their logo and information appearing on the e-Skills week EU website and relevant national websites
• The stakeholders will be able to upload content directly to the portal, or request support from the web editor to do this on their behalf. They will also have preferred status when the portal contents are planned
• Strategic positioning vis-à-vis the EU institutions in terms of political support for e-Skills
• Ability to engage in multi-stakeholder dialogue and actions with other organisations and companies sharing the objective of promoting e-Skills via meetings and mailing lists for stakeholders
• Priority invitations to events

The e-Skills Week stakeholders have the following responsibilities:

• Support e-Skills Week by appearing on the campaign’s portal and associated materials (brochures, press releases, etc)
• Promote the e-Skills Week via their communication channels
• Co-brand with the e-Skills Week, branding their existing activities related to e-Skills, and scheduled for any time between October 2009 and March 2010
• If possible, schedule some of the above activities during the e-Skills Week itself
• Participate in one or more activities that the consortium will organise during the e-Skills Week

How to apply?

Fill in the online registration form here. The e-Skills Week team will use the following criteria to choose the stakeholders:

• Shared objectives: the organisation in question must share the objectives of the e-Skills Week.
• Relevance: the organisation in question must be relevant to e-Skills and have some history of activity in the field or related fields
• Credibility and reliability: organisations must be reliable, ethical and credible

Depending on the remit of the organisation, the stakeholder is classified as “national” or “EU/ international”. The national stakeholders are those that are active mainly in one country only, while the EU/ international level stakeholders are those that are active in more than one country.

All approved stakeholders will receive a digital kit in their national language, comprising e-Skills Week promotion materials (templates, logos, banners, buttons, press release, etc), contact sheets including other stakeholders and national contact points, instructions on how to use the e-Skills Week website, and contact details for the e-Skills Week team.
